As long as you calibrate your reciever after you install the speakers

The manual states Atmos can be achieved only from A-i and A-ii setup (which are both bouncing off ceiling) and mounting them on the wall makes them surround sound speakers. Can someone who actually has them mounted on the wall confirm this?

Yes , they are designed to point down like a movie theater set up.

Yes they can. I believe they include everything you'll need to mount them that way.
