You can bridge the atmos speakers to your rear speakers .
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Rich I believe my dn1080 has the same option. You dont have to disconnect your rear speakers. I pretty sure you hook up to the rear/height & go to your speaker menu in the receiver & itll give the option your looking for. I'm not sure if your using the atmos speakers to bounce off the ceiling, hang them on the wall or using them overhead but the options should be on the screen after you hook it up assuming the dh790 has an on screen menu like the 1080. If you havent fig this out by tomorrow I'll look at my receiver & see what I did exactly. Again I'm not 100% but no should not have to unhook your tears to add the atmos speakers

Back/height is what I use for my Dolby Speakers. Perhaps share the model of your amp to get a better understanding to help you out?

Yes, you will need to remove your existing rear speakers connected to the SURROUND BACK/HEIGHT (FRONT B/BI-AMP) terminals on the rear of the receiver to add your SS-CSE Speakers.
