I wouldn't mount them that way. I have 4 of them, I started with 2 and both were mounted up high as close to the ceiling and above my towers. Then I bought 2 more and hung one above my center channel, one in the same spot but behind our seating position and then 1 on the right wall & the other on the left. Unless you can mount recessed speakers directly into the ceiling I think the way I have it is the best sounding. Actually it would be even better if I got another 4 and had 2 over the FR&FL towers, 2 above the rear towers and 2 on each side wall. Whatever you do don't put them in top of towers. The sound doesn't bounce of the ceiling and they just sound like another speaker in the tower.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can the bracket that comes with the speakers are made for in ceiling use. Other than that it would just sit on top of the speakers but the bracket is made for the ceiling or any type of wall mount use.
