• They are designed for Atmos. They would do the job but I believe that are more speaker and money than you will need.

• Yessir you can. I have them on top of my tower speakers and I have a 7.2 surround sound system. They have a hole inside the speaker cabinet itself to use for hanging on the ceiling of wall. I hope that answers your question, and enjoy them!
