Hi Jax, Sorry to hear that. Try to power reset the TV. Follow these steps: Turn off the TV. -> Unplug the AC power cord. -> Leave the TV unplugged for 2 minutes. -> Connect AC power cord directly into the wall outlet. -> Power on the TV. Regards, Vincent
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not sure what you mean by "pixels show really bad." Depending on your input signal, this set displays up to 1080p resolution, which is very fine on a 40" set. If you are unduly noticing the pixels, you either have the resolution setting very low (e.g., 480i) or the image is zoomed to the maximum. Both of these are easily adjusted: set the resolution to match the best output resolution of your cable or satellite source (this usually sets automatically, but can be manually selected using the options button) and set the screen aspect ratio to normal (using the "wide" button on the remote). Note: In order to get the best resolution, you must connect with an HDMI cable. Component-in cords (the black, red, and yellow cords) do NOT support HD signals and will result in degraded images that are especially apparent on HD channels.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have not had this problem. The picture from my DirecTV is very good.
