60Hz can be a drawback but in this case Sony seems to have overcome that as I have not noted any real concerns in that regard. That said I do not use it for gaming or as a primary TV. For gaming I have a TV with a much higher refresh rate and my home theater is where I watch movies and sporting events. Still I highly recommend the set. It has a great picture and good value.
