“I asked for the length of the stand for Sony 40 inch tv and you keep on sending the width of 24/78 that was not the question I need to know the length not the width of the stand”

The depth of the stand (from front to back) is about 8-1/2”, the width of the stand (on the backside, the front side is narrower) is about 25” and the stand raises the TV about 2-1/8” off the surface of whatever you might have it sitting on.
