“What soundbar would be compatible with this TV? I need clear dialogue so that the volume doesn't have to be really loud when there is action along with voices. My husband hates the loud noise.”

The TV speakers support three features that will help you out in this regard. One is a dialogue boost setting that pumps up the volume of the human vocal range so that speech is louder than other sounds. There is also a dynamic compression feature that makes loud noises quieter and quiet noises louder, evening out the volume through your program's run-time. In addition, there is a setting to specify whether the TV is wall-mounted or on a stand, modifying the audio profile in each case to create clearer audio. While the TV speakers are mediocre on their own, I have found that adding a basic subwoofer and turning on the Subwoofer setting in the Audio Out options removes the need for a soundbar altogether.
