Hi Alane08175, Thanks for your interest in Sony products! PS4 Pro doesn't require a 4K TV, but it can display much higher resolutions than the standard PS4 when a 4K TV is used. This will be a good choice after all. Best regards, -Erin

Yes, I have an Xbox One X & this TV is great. You just need to enable enhanced video output & then plug the PS4 into HDMI port 2 or 3 to utilize it fully.
