The user interface is Android, but getting into Amazon and Hulu is easy. I don't subscribe to Netflix, but it should be easy also (and there's a Netflix button on the remote). It can be hard to find settings in the interface, and Android is slow to start up but that only happens after a software upgrade or a complete restart of the set. You can disable Samba (an app that a lot of people object to) during the initial setup.
