I don't think you need a Roku. Check the apps and since it has an Android OS, you can check the google play store. My sister has spectrum internet and if that's what you are referring to, this just needs an internet connection and I don't think it matters which service provider you have. I'm not using a wifi connection but rather a wired connection.
