We have a very small room as well and it's better with it than without. I could still live with the TV as it came without the sound bar, but my husband says it's a must-have. I hope this helped. Makes a huge difference for dvd's. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sound bar can be great but for a small room it has enough power and clarity, it also has a surround sound setting to it which sounds nice. It also allows you to customize the sound more via equalizer settings etc.
