Hi LorrieMae, thanks for your inquiry. Yes. You can connect an antenna and a DVD player easily. Our X80J has a designated port to hook up your cable/antenna. Depending on the available connection port of your DVD player, you can connect it to the TV using an HDMI cord or using an Analog Extension cable (not supplied) for composite video. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We have an antenna in the attic with a CAT5 cable outlet in the wall where we connect the cable that goes into the TV. If you look at the TV specs, you will see there is a port for an antenna. We watch DVDs via the DVD drive on our laptop. We connect the laptop to one of the HDMI outlets. There are 4 HDMI outlets, and they have different properties. We use HDMI port #4, and it works just fine.
