“I recently got the ps5 I activated the FPS on the PlayStation system every step of the way on performance mode but when I go to fortnite to activate them as well it only shows 60 FPS why is that? I did everything else correctly. I’m on htmi 3 as well”

You may want to check if you are using the right HDMI cable. It must say HDMI 2.1 (Ultra High Speed) that supports 4K at 120Hz or 120fps. An HDMI 2.0 (High Speed) will display at 60 Hz or 60 fps.
