The recommended distance for comfortable viewing depends on the video or program you are watching, the viewing environment, and the physical conditions of the person watching it. When watching the TV from a suitable distance, we recommend looking away from the TV now and then or try watching it at a different viewing angle. You may refer to the link below for our recommended viewing distance when watching the TV: https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/televisions-projectors-lcd-tvs-android-/kd-43x85k/articles/00008601 Additionally, the X85K features various settings related to the TV display such as Brightness, Color, Hue, etc. for picture quality that will help improve your overall viewing experience. Please refer to the link below for more details: https://helpguide.sony.net/tv/jusltn1/v1/en-003/01-03-09_01.html?hl=picture+quality If TV that features the X-Wide Angle and X-Anti Reflection (off-angle color and brightness are preserved with less glare) for wide audience is your priority, then we recommend you our BRAVIA XR X95K Mini LED TV. With the X95K, you will experience the ultimate in brightness and contrast. The XR Backlight Master Drive controls thousands of tiny, high-density Mini LEDs with absolute precision to deliver lifelike 4K HDR pictures.
