• I believe the first answer above (12 months) is correct for this model. There are some models on the Sony website that appear to now have an 18 month warranty but the detailed information is confusing. I'd assume 12 months, and again, I recommend as much Geek Squad protection as possible.

• From Sony's website: 18 months - The correct warranty period is 18 months from the date of purchase for parts and labor. (Some warranty cards may incorrectly have stated that the period was limited to one-year.) I recommend purchasing as long a Geek Squad plan as you can (I got five years). While I've never used it, the general feedback on the web is outstanding, and I believe that it even covers burn-in.
