• The stand extends out in front of the TV 4 inches and sits the TV low on the stand with about 1/4 inch clearance. Hope that helps.

• The stand is 8 1/2 by 18 1/2. Make sure your mantle is sturdy - the set weighs about 50 lbs. We have had the set for about two weeks now and love it!
