Share photos with friends in the room. Additionally, this TV supports Apple HomeKit- With Apple Home, you can easily and securely control this TV with the Home app and Siri on your Apple device, using HomeKit technology. Set up your TV in a few simple steps and control with a tap or by asking Siri. As for your DISH Network, if you're using a cable set-top box, then you can simply connect it to one of the available HDMI inputs of the TV. But if in case that your device only supports composite (RCA) audio video connection, then you will need to connect it to the video in port of the TV (1 - located on the side) using an optional Analog Extension Cable that can be purchase at most electronic retailers (3.5mm, 4-pole Mini jack to RCA yellow, red and white, not supplied). Here are the three simplest ways for you to connect your iPhone or iPad to this Sony Bravia TV using AirPlay, Screen Mirroring, and Bluetooth. All devices running the latest version of iOS or run one of the branches based with iOS, are compatible with this Sony XR48A90K. I will next briefly clarify what devices run iOS or based versions of iOS, in the next paragraph for you. The operating system that powers many of Apple’s mobile devices is exclusive to iOS(formerly iPhone OS), including the iPhone; the term also includes the system software for iPads (predating iPadOS, which was introduced in 2019) as well as on the iPod Touch devices (which were discontinued in mid-2022). It is the basis for three other operating systems made by Apple: iPadOS, tvOS, and watchOS. On to your second question asking how you would hook up your Dish service provider’s receiver to this Sony XR48A90K. Of course this will be the abridged version, but this is a pretty straightforward setup. First, you will need to setup your internet connection to the TV. You can setup the internet connection via WiFi or Ethernet. Either way you choose, make sure the connection is stable and secure so you securely get the most out of your Dish Services and this Sony XR48A90K. Keep in mind, this Sony TV will guide you through the connection of your Internet and along with anything else you connect to it, if you need assistance. Now, After establishing an internet connection, the next step is to connect your Dish receiver to the TV. I apologize but I don’t know how you plan on connecting the physical connection, but this should be done using a HDMI cable. Once you have connected the Receiver to your New Sony TV, you are basically done with the connection process. Now you can enjoy your new TV.
