Hi MIKEY, Thank you very much for your inquiry. Regarding your first question, absolutely, yes. The HDMI ports of the TV (1 Side, 3 Bottom) support cable TV/cable set-top box and DVD player connection. And for your second, yes, this TV has an ethernet/LAN port for wired internet connection. The available connections are located on the left side when facing the front of the TV. The MASTER Series BRAVIA XR A90K OLED TV is designed to fit perfectly in any sized room or office thanks to the 48-inch and first-ever 42-inch screen sizes. Whether you are gearing up for an intense gaming session or settling down to enjoy your favorite movie or show, rest assured the A90K will be sure to impress. I hope this helps you, and thanks again for your question! Best regards, Romeo
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Most all TV's have at least 2 HDMI ports on them, this TV has 4. 1 is HDMI ARC to connect to a soundbar or external audio receiver. 2 hdmi ports are ver. 2.1 for gaming or anything else. 1 hdmi port is on the side and 3 are in back. There is an ethernet port in back on this TV. Most all newer TV's have WiFi as well. Also has a coax input and 2 USB ports. Best to connect your DVD/BluRay player to HDMI 1.
