I have a Klipsh subwoofer with 2 speakers that are meant to be plugged into a computer. I plugged them into the headphone jack on this TV and it's much better sound than the TV speakers. Had no problem. Not sure if your soundbar has a "wire" that you can plug into the headphone jack, but if so, it should work. I would call the Geek Squad or call Sony directly. I have called Sony in the past and they were a big help.
