“Can the remote control be used manually too? I realize the provided control is a voice remote control, but if using headphones while watching tv to avoid disturbing others I do not wish to have to talk to change channels or access tv features.”

• Yes, the remote control can be used manually. To be honest, I have not used the voice control yet and probably never will. Great TV though. Too bad Sony's receivers do not match the quality of their TVs.

• Yes - its an ordinary remote with all the usual buttons. The voice portion is optional - I did not even turn it on or program it.
