“What is the length of the power cord? Is there a big block in the middle? I am thinking of wall mounting this and trying to see if the outlet will be close enough. And if I can hide the power brick.”

Total length is about 4.5' with a brick sized power brick, literally it's about the size of an actual brick. Power supply is external.
