Hi ARC, Thank you for your inquiry. Great news! The XBR49X800H is an HDMI ARC supported Model. You may connect an ARC compatible Soundbar to the TV and use the Control for HMDI Feature of both device that allows the command and control using only one remote control. We hope that this helps. – Chris
