A:Answer After a lot of research I decided I wanted this 49 inch SONY TV. It could fit perfecly in our Master bedroom. However, nobody seemed to have it in stock! I visited my local Best Buy store & the blueshirt TV specialist said that he had no idea when or if they would be able to order this for me. I was walking out the door when he called out: "Hey, we've got one in the store!" To my chagrin it was an open box unit that had just been deliverd. I had never bought an open box before, The blueshirt told me that there was nothing wrong with it except that it had been sent back without its original stand. He explained that all warranties would be good if I bought it, and oh by the way, it was just under $400 off original price. We fired it up right there in the middle of a crowded store & it had hardly ever been turned on. I took it home & did a Google search on what might work and found the following : PERLESMITH Universal TV Stand Table Top TV Base for 37 to 70 inch LCD LED OLED 4K Flat Screen TVs - Height Adjustable TV Mount Stand with Tempered Glass Base, VESA 600x400mm, Holds up to 99lbs. I ordered it & it was deliverd to my home two days later. I don't consider myself to be a handy man for one minute. But the instructions were simple and I had it assembled in less than ahalf hour. The TV weighs 47 pounds, well within the weight limit. & the parts of the stand are all quite sturdy. Most of all, the instructions are simple. There are other stands of similar value I suppose, but this had worked for us!
