Hi Bevis, Here are the available ports for this CD changer unit: DIGITAL OUT OPTICAL jack and ANALOG OUT ( L/R). Please check your speakers for the supported input ports to output the sound from this unit to the speakers. Dave
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need a receiver or amp or something. This is a cd player and can't produce sound without another piece of equipment.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, you need receiver or some sort of amplifiers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I honestly do not see how you could possibly hard-wire speakers to this unit. It is an Auxiliary unit and as such has no volume knob. If you can figure out how you could conceivably control the volume (or have volume I would imagine) you might be able to hook up speakers to it. But due to the lack of specificity in your question I would imagine your not very familiar with electronics in general. Moreover I would imagine there is "other components" (ie: an amp) that might be capable of replacing the "necessary receiver. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is a component stereo piece. You need to connect it to a receiver which will then power the speakers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you have self-powered speakers, such as a surround sound system, yes. I purchased an Acoustic Audio home speaker system with this changer for my bedroom and it works well for my needs.
