Unfortunately, the Sony CDP-CE500 CD Changer is not a stand-alone product. The Sony CDP-CE500 CD Changer does not offer speaker terminals. You can’t connect any pair of speakers to the Sony CD changer. The Sony CD changer operating instructions do not indicate that this unit offers speaker terminals. Sorry. The operating instructions indicate on page 9 that this unit must be connected to an rca style line level input or digital optical input of an amplifier. The Sony CD Changer can be connected to any A/V receiver or shelf stereo system that Best Buy sells. You can also purchase any shelf stereo system from Best Buy if you are looking for a CD player/speaker combination in one complete package. In addition, if you are looking for a CD player with speakers built into one unit, then you can consider purchasing a boombox from Best Buy as well. Typically, a boombox features a CD player, FM/AM tuner, cassette player/recorder, and 2 full range speakers in one unit that can operate on batteries or AC power. The Sony CFD-S350SILVER boombox or Sony CFD-G700CP boombox would be a great choice for this application. Good Luck.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The CDPCE500 is a HiFi component and so does not have a built in amplifier or speakers. There is an analog and digital output to connect the unit to a Receiver.
