• No, the CDP-CE500 is a home theater component that requires an A/V receiver. With this 5 disc CD changer/ Recorder you can play 5 CDs or record songs off of the CDs and save them onto a USB thumb drive. If you are looking for an A/V receiver that will control your iPod might we suggest the STRDN1020
