I have Comcast and I am able to view in 1080i even though broadcast is 720p. The picture is amazing once you go into the advanced settings and adjust the picture quality to your taste. You have to do it line by line and it does take some time but easy to do.

Spectrum will likely charge extra for 4K packages, and Verizon likely will not get 4K. At least for a very long time. You might want to invest in to streaming 4K from YouTube, and I'm sure a myriad of other sites on demand. That's what I do with my NVIDIA SHIELD.
