QuestionCan I hook up my VCR/DVD player/recorder to this TV and still be able to watch VHS Tapes and DVDs AND record TV shows to both the VHS TAPES and DVDs? (this device does have a built in tuner) ... can exterior speakers or receiver be hooked to this TV

- Answer Dimension given is the diagonal measurement, e.g. from the top left corner of the screen to the bottom right corner. Measurement for this model is 49.5"

QuestionI just bought the Sony xbr49x800e HDR ultra hd tv and it was suppose to be on sale at $100 off. Had it 2 months and now it is $479 at Best buy! I paid $802.00! Also the white listen button worked for 2 weeks and quit! Any suggestions on settings ect!

QuestionI purchased this same Sony 4k ultra 50" about three months ago to get a great 4k picture for over $800 from Best Buy! Now I see it's only $499! Picture is not as good as older Samsung LED UltraTV. How can I tell if I am getting 4k Ultra picture? & cost!

- Answer All TV's that advertise 4K or UHD resolution will display whatever you send into the TV at the 4K level (this is how ALL TV's work - they only support the max resolution directly while all lower resolutions are "upscaled" by the TV). Unless you're streaming 4K content from Netflix, Amazon or similar, or if you have a BluRay player that plays UHD discs (and you're actually watching a UHD disc), you will only be seeing an upscaled version of whatever you're sending to the TV. With that said, I'm personally not impressed with the picture processing capabilities on this TV. The 800E sets are MUCH better.

- Answer Unfortunately No.. but you can easily attach a 4K android box to add apps from the Google Store to do what you want in 4K.

- Answer I’m not quite sure you might try adjusting the settings on your TV and upping the resolution on your Xbox one. I run an Xbox one S on mine with zero input lag and I play call of duty online so I would notice latency . When I plug my Xbox one S in and turned it on it automatically changed the settings to work with the new TV
