Our house isn’t very big but the picture is clear at about 45 degree 12 feet from the tv. That’s on a diagonal line.

However, this TV includes a light sensor that optimizes picture brightness to room conditions, boosting brightness in light rooms and reducing it in dark ones so you get the perfect view. The BRAVIA X80K 4K HDR LED TV is designed for all your favorite content. Powered by the 4K HDR Processor X1 and TRILUMINOS PRO, picture quality comes to life with vivid color and realistic contrast. The best viewing distance also depends on the size and the display resolution of the TV. The recommended distance for comfortable viewing depends on the video or program you are watching, the viewing environment, and the physical conditions of the person watching it. Please refer to this link about recommended viewing distance for watching TV: https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/televisions-projectors-lcd-tvs-android-/kd-50x80k/articles/00008601 All OLED Models (A90K, A80K, A95K, A90J, A80L, A95L) also have very wide viewing angle capabilities. These models are also compatible with our Sony BRAVIA Cam which allows for automatic sound positioning which directs the sound to your seating position. If you are needing a higher performance from an angle, we recommend our XR X95K, X95L and X93L that features X-WIDE ANGLE & X-ANTI REFLECTION. With these TVs, every seat in the room is now the best seat in the room with enhanced viewing angles that preserve color when watching from the side and an anti-reflective screen that reduces glare in bright rooms.
