“Will this TV be able to get the firmware update that will have VRR - like I saw on a question that was answered about the VRR on another Sony model - Bravia XR X90J - that said it will be "available on a future update" Thank you :)”

The update was released March 1st. I know you posted this question 7 months ago, but you should be good to go now.

Sony 2021 TV models X85J and up will support HDMI 2.1 via HDMI inputs 3 & 4 (4K 120/ALLM available at launch) and VRR will be coming via a future firmware update.
