• Hi RyanSE, thank you for your question. There is no protective film on the TV screen surface. Do not remove the surface material from the corners or sides of the panel. Hope this helps. ~Earl

• No I don’t believe it does, if you are talking about the thin layer above the screen don’t try to peel it off
