yes, it will. should hook up all inputs and have them turned on when you first activate this set. having said that, you have to calibrate both picture and sound seperately for each input. as with a smartphone or computer, you should do a reset after each one. you can then program your direct tv remote to also operate the set, as long as you program the tv to go to your direct tv input on startup.
