• The distance between the legs is 29 1/2 inches. I actually had to put a platform on the dresser to make it fit. The distance from the bottom using the legs is 28 1/4 inches to the top.

• it is about 28 inches, so it will fit on your cart. however, i always order a stand for my tvs from amazon, as i trust the stand with a flat base much more than the plastic legs that these tvs typically come with. the heavy weight basestands will fit just about any flat surface more then 12 inches, and make the tv much more stable..
