Yes. I had to read the manual, I've never tried it. (And you get a paper manual, not the on-line only garbage. Yeah!) You can program the unit to turn on at a preset time. You then program the source you want to start at that time...CD, USB or Radio. It doesn't mention Bluetooth. I suspect you can't use Bluetooth with a preset start time. To turn it off, you can hit the power button on the remote. It does not have an alarm feature. Hope this helps.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Didn't see the last part of your question. Yes, you use the remote to turn off timer (it's actually a play timer rather than an alarm). Note also that the timer only turns the unit on when it's off; in other words, if the unit is on (in use) the play timer doesn't activate.
