• I use this TV with an antenna and antenna signal amplifier. This TV does have a built in converter. You simply take your co-ax cable output coming from your antenna/amplifier and screw it straight into the this TV's antenna input. HD picture is awesome (better than HD supplied by cable companies do to lack of picture compression distortion). I use a single antenna in my attic which goes immediately to an amplifier. That output runs to my basement where I split the signal into 4 separate rooms (only have two TVs at the moment) with a (near) lossless splitter. Tuner on this TV is very capable.

• Hi Hank, no. This TV does not have a built in converter/converter box. However, it has a coaxial port where you can connect your outdoor antenna or converter box. Thanks, -Mark
