• No, Your Cable/Satellite provider should have the correct cables...or any dvd player or laptop connection.

• Only if you are hooking up other devices such as a sound bar (optical cable), streaming box (HDMI), BluRay player (HDMI), etc. Otherwise, connect to wireless and watch away. I have a digital antenna that came with coaxial, so you wouldn't need an extra cable for that either. Enjoy!
