• The September 20 2016 Firmware update for the TV includes the HDR software. So yes you can use your Sony Blu-Ray player and achieve HDR results.

• Hi Loudown31. Yes, you can still use and HDR capable Bluray player, however, it will just display 4k not 4k in HDR. -Mark

• I don't think so. It might play but the video from an HDR Blu-Ray player should be played on an HDR TV to get the ultimate result. Hope this helps.
