Is the tv side lit or backlit! null

This television, the 55" 700D, is backlit, this is why the television appears brighter overall than the premium model series, 850D series which is edge-lit. The reason sony created it this way to further their idea of a better and realistic color. Which the lighting around the edge of the television it allows the colors to correctly represented.
