• Normal remote but you can get a remote app on your phone that will work. I use my Logitech Harmony as the remote for this tv. Since it's Sony, my Harmony also controls my PS4 and PS4 too which is awesome!

• No, it comes with the standard keypad remote. However, you can purchase the touch pad remote online for around $60 (search for Sony RMF-TX100U remote) or you can install Sony's free Sideview App on your smart phone (available for both IOs and Android) and get the touch pad functionality for free.

• No, mine (55 inch) came with the standard remote. I don't mind, since I've read reviews that the touchpad isn't very good. The only thing that won't work is voice commands, but I heard you can download TV sideview app and turn your cell phone into a remote with voice command features.
