Hi there, for you to be able to access the initial setup screen, you can follow the steps below: Press the HOME button, then select [Settings] — [TV] — [Initial setup]. This will allow you to set the TVs basic features such as region, channels, and network for first time use. - Jerome
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The initial set up should be under the settings. But this shouldn't be why your picture isn't good. Try looking at the picture on a program from an app like Netflix. If the pic is the same, perhaps your TV is defective.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You only need to perform the digital channel search if you are using a digital antenna. If you are using a cable or satellite box, then you should not do a digital channel search. The problem with your PQ (picture quality) is most likely due to the picture mode your TV shipped with. I've discovered that the several movie picture modes available with this TV tend to soften and wash out the picture. If this is what you are experiencing, go to Picture Mode and switch it to Standard. If you want to go with custom settings, try the ones the experts used at this link: http://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/sony/x810c
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.your gonna have to mess with the settings. this tv does look good its just that its not set us like the vizio. but this tv offers better blacks compared to the vizio and more real colors. the other tv s seam to look better because they look brighter. that a trick to fool people. just play with the settings an the advance setting and youll get better looking colors and picture.
