“Can you use a wireless keyboard instead of the remote? On our present Samsung, we use a wireless keyboard to type in web site addresses when using the web browser. Can this be done with the Sony 810C? Reviews indicate difficulty using the remote for this purpose and we do not have Android phones. Lastly we are returning a Samsung JS7000 because of terrible flashlighting/clouding - any comments regarding this Sony??”

yes I just paired it successfully with an apple keyboard, the keyboard functions normally on all apps i've tried to use it on the included remote isn't difficult to navigate, it just doesn't have a touch pad. the new apple tv remote types much faster because you can skip letters easier. Sony's RM-ADP057 is a move and click each button type of remote when navigating content.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This set was not particularly designed for web browsing at this time. The ANDROID OS on it does not support advanced web browsing. Question2 - there is no flashing, clouding or blurr or lag on this set (120Hz native refresh rate). I am feeding HDMI via a Directv HDMI source that is either 720 1080 or 4k depending on content its crystal clear. NOTE: this is a LED tv but performs well if viewed 65 degrees from center. For the money this is great, if you are very very critical of picture and sound pass on this set.
