It has a standard remote (RMF-TX820U) which features a simple, easy-to-use design that is effortless to clean. If backlighting on the remote is essential, the TX920U remote can be purchased and paired with the TV. Premium backlit remote is available on the following models: Z9K, A90K, and A95L, while the BRAVIA 9 will come with a rechargeable and backlit Premium Eco Remote. Additionally, Sony TV purchased through membership clubs such as Costco come with a premium backlit remote. Hope this information helps!
