“I already own a TV table stand with a bracket upon which my old TV is mounted. If I have to purchase the 55" will I be able to mount it on the existing table stand even though the TV comes with its own leg stands? Thanks.”

I mounted mine on the wall using an existing bracket. There were threaded holes in back of tv to accommodate this. I’m not sure though how this would work on your stand. If the tv is on display at Best Buy you can probably look at the back. I took pictures of my wall mount and brought it in with me for BB sales person to check out.
