• Sony has not confirmed anything in this regard at conventions, however based on speculation and last years models, the 900f and higher models will have a VA panel. The 850f and below may use IPS, as they have done in their 2017 Models.

• I already looked into this and if you look at specs for prev 900 they boasting the same wide viewing angle it still going to be using VA while viewing from off angle is fine its going to kill colors contrast and blacks.
