as with any tv you start to have the picturet wash out a little as you move to the right or left, but it still isn't too bad. go to your local store to check this for yourself, but it was not too bad until i moved quite a ways to one side or the other. that is one concern you can reliably compare in a showroom comparison. if that is your only concern, then i would buy this one. it is the first sony i have owned and i really love it. and from everything i can read or find, this is THE tv for this year. i also have a visio and an lg in my bedrooms, and enjoy both of them also, but i prefer watching the new sony more. you pay a little more for a sony but it is always worth it.
