Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The mounts are marked left and right but do appear to be interchangeable. Can't speak for stability when turned inward. Currently mine is wall mounted. The 55" (the one you noted in your p/n) has a 25" space in between the stand mounts and the "feet" angle out about 8in. Don't think that would work with your base. I would consider wall mounting since the TV is light compared to others within the size range. At 42lbs its almost 20lbs less than some of the competitors; making it easier to find a mount that fits your wall load specs. FYI the Sonos Beam fits just fine given the size.
