“Can anyone tell me if this TV's screen is shiny and reflective? Or is it more of a matte finish? The comparable LG models that I've seen have a very reflective screen which would seem to be distracting while watching TV or playing a game. Thanks.”

I wouldn't consider it shiny nor matt...it's good. The amount of reflection may be attributed to the amount of ambient light reflecting off of your screen. Our TV situated in our living room and close to the lanai which has roller shade that are dropped half way (minimal amount of intense sunglight)...with that being said a subdued amount of ambient light. I could be standing in the kitchen and viewing the screee at a 30 - 40 degree angle (I done't have to pivot the screen) and not pick up any reflection.
