Looks like I can answer my own question the kickstand does not need to be on the TV when you mounted on the wall also when you mount the TV on the wall there’s a bracket that locks the TV flat straight up and down or you can leave it at an angle it’s your option. The base is in a speaker mounted on the back of the TV , not in the stand .
