• The bass sound is not in the kickstand. The bass speaker is in the middle below the top center of the screen. The bass is very heavy and only helps keep the television from tipping over. That is the only speaker on the television. Sound comes out of the screen . Renee

• Yes, it does have full screen sound, and it is excellent. I have put aside plans for a sound bar addition because the present sound is so good. Love it.

• There a two annunciators that project the sound thru the back of the screen and out to viewer. The sound is full bodied and not "tinny"...rather good.

• I assume that this "Acoustic Surface" sound in the Sony E series has rather weak bass response. Is there an outlet to hook up a powered subwoofer?

• Hi, yes. This model features Sony's Acoustic Surface technology. The sound comes to you from the entire screen. So far, only the E series has it. Thanks, -Mark
